Debbie Felton – Monsters and Monarchs

Serial killers have been around longer than you might think. Debbie Felton takes us back in time to discuss her research on serial killers in Ancient Greece and Rome.

Debbie Felton is Professor of Classics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She specializes in the weirder aspects of the ancient world, and teaches classes on ghost stories of Greece and Rome and on witchcraft and magic in the ancient Mediterranean. She is also editor of the journal Preternature and Associate Review Editor for the Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts. She occasionally serves as content consultant for children’s ghost story books published by Bearport Press.
