Janice Oberding – Ghosts, True Crime, and Lore of Nevada
Nevada has been the seat of silver fever, the wild west and ghost stories to back up the wild lifestyle that has always been there. Janice Oberding will focus on the interesting history, hauntings and horrific crimes that season the landscape of our 36th state.

Janice Oberding, a Nevada author whose topics include the paranormal, history and true crime, has been involved in the paranormal for over 40 years. She has written over 20 books and taught the first ever online WebCT ghost hunting class at Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada. She also taught classes about Nevada’s History and Hauntings at Western Nevada Community College and Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC). Janice was instrumental in creating Truckee Meadows Community College’s Paranormal Series which continues to this day and she is still involved in that. Janice has appeared in many TV shows on the Syfy Channel, the History Channel, LivingTV and the Travel Channel.
