Writer, former international English teacher, and historian, Amanda R. Woomer was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. With a degree in anthropology, she won her first award for her writing when she was only 12 years old. She is currently a featured writer for the award-winning Haunted Magazine, the owner of Spook-Eats, and has written A Haunted Atlas of Western New York, The Spirit Guide: America’s Haunted Breweries, Distilleries, and Wineries, The Ghosts of the Ghostlight Theatre, and two books in the Creepy Books for Creepy Kids Series: The Cryptid ABC Book and Krampus’s Great Big Book of Yuletide Monsters.
